Program Overview
The clinical microbiologist is certified to work in the microbiology laboratory department only. The microbiology categorical national certification encompasses only the discipline of microbiology.
The Institute of Integrated Laboratory Sciences offers a program to prepare individuals interested in only taking the categorical microbiology national certification. The microbiology program is designed to provide clients with the knowledge base needed to pass the national certification in clinical microbiology.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff offer instruction in all aspects of clinical laboratory science including microbiology, which encompasses, bacteriology, parasitology, mycology, virology, quality control, quality assurance, quality improvement, and laboratory compliance.
